  1. What documents are required for the marriage registration ceremony?Valid marriage license issued in the State of Florida ( We will send detailed instructions).Identification card (Passport or valid driver’s license).

  2. How long does the ceremony last?The ceremony takes an hour from the moment a couple arrives at the location.

  3. Does the package include airline tickets and accommodations? No. Airline tickets and accommodations are the client’s responsibility.

  4. What documents certifying the marriage does a couple receive after the ceremony? The couple receives a document from the notary about the conduct of procedure, Final marriage registration documents are mailed to the couple.

  5. Can we increase the number of guests? Yes, you can, for an additional fee. Please refer to the packages for prices.

  6. Can we postpone the starting date/time of ceremony? If you wish to transfer your selected date/time to another available slot in the company’s timeline, you must do so at least 10 business days in advance of the original time slot.

  7. Is return transportation provided? We can coordinate transportation to and from the ceremony. Please ask about details.

  8. What if I have a food allergy? You must inform the manager about this no less than 5 days before the day of the ceremony.

  9. Can I get my money back in case of bad weather? Cancellation Protection may be added to any package for $500 and shall entitle the Bridal Party to cancel and receive a full refund of the bridal package fee selected by the bridal party. In the event the Cancellation Protection is added, the bridal party will be refunded the package price and Dreams & Details Events, LLC shall be entitled to retain the Cancellation protection fee in the amount of $500. Bridal party acknowledges that no other compensation will be provided outside of the refund of the package fee. Any cancellations pursuant to the Cancellation Protection shall be made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Wedding Date/Time.

  10. Can we have same-sex marriage ceremony in Florida? You can have a same-sex marriage ceremony with our company. The law adopted on June 26, 2015, permits us to do so in accordance with current U.S. legislation.

  11. Were is your wedding venue? We have several locations throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.

  12. If we are flying to Florida, what airports should we use? We recommend Fort Lauderdale (FLL) airport, but you can also fly to Miami (MIA).

  13. My plans have changed. Can I get a refund? You can get a refund in covered cases if you bought Cancellation Protection.

  14. What is Cancellation Protection? If you buy Cancellation Protection, you can get a refund in covered cases. The fee for Cancellation  Protection is not refundable. Cancellation Protection plan allows the bride and groom to cancel their wedding up to 48 hours prior to the wedding day and receive full refund on the package they chose and paid for. The cancellation protection plan cost $500 and is a one time non-refundable fee.

  15. Can the weather impact our event?The weather in South Florida is subject to change at any given moment. If the weather does not permit the ceremony to take place at the location selected in the package, you can reschedule the ceremony to a different time/date or a new location. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to Nov. 30.
